Fairing Cutouts are necessary for installation on these particular models.
Installation instructions:
Step #1 Remove Left & Right Fairings
Step #2 -remove bolts and position the Special frame clamp mount on the front sub frame (near the oil cooler) at to your desired Frame Slider position and tighten screws.
step #3 - temporarily reinstall Fairings and calculate/measure where holes need to be made in fairings. then remove fairings and cut an appropriately sized hole ( 2 3/8" or 60mm )
Step #4 Install trim gromets onto Fairing cutouts
step #5 - reinstall fairings
step #6 - insert frame slider through hole and bolt to frame clamp
step #7 - enjoy the new look and added safety feature
